RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Purchaser for a precision engineering and manufacturing environment in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, source reliable suppliers, and ensure materials meet quality and delivery requirements.

You will negotiate terms, maintain purchase orders and supplier records, and collaborate with production, operations and engineering to optimize procurement costs and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 5–7 years of purchasing/procurement experience in precision engineering/manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and order follow-up.
• Source and develop reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for cost savings, quality improvement.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions.
• Maintain purchase orders and supplier records, price lists, procurement reports, and documentation.
• Monitor market conditions and supply trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and industry requirements.

• Basic salary up to S$4,000 + Bonus + AWS
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:45 PM
• Working Location: Buroh Street, Singapore

We are a Singapore-based precision engineering and manufacturing company supporting customers with high-quality engineered components and manufacturing solutions. We are looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our team and play a key role in managing procurement activities and supplier relationships.

The Role

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials and services are sourced competitively, delivered on time, and meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and order follow-up.
• Source and develop reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings, quality improvement, and greater procurement efficiency.
• Work closely with production, operations, engineering, and other internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, supplier records, price lists, procurement reports, and related documentation.
• Monitor market conditions, material pricing, and supply trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures, policies, and applicable industry requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
• 5–7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, in Precision Engineering / Manufacturing is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/purchasing systems.
