Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Purchaser for our precision engineering and manufacturing operations in Singapore.

The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, supplier development, and ensuring timely, high-quality materials and services. You will negotiate terms, manage purchase orders, and collaborate with production and engineering to meet tight schedules. A Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain and 5–7 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 5–7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience in Precision Engineering/Manufacturing is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and order follow-up.
• Source and develop reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings, quality improvement, and greater procurement efficiency.
• Work closely with production, operations, engineering, and other internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, supplier records, price lists, procurement reports, and related documentation.
• Monitor market conditions, material pricing, and supply trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures, policies, and applicable industry requirements.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:45 PM
• Working Location: Buroh Street, Singapore

The Role
