Job summary

Wesco in Singapore is seeking an Analyst - Purchasing and Inventory to act as liaison with vendors, implement inventory control protocols, and optimize service levels across the supply chain.

You will monitor inventory, maintain letters of intent with customers, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to expedite deliveries and resolve receiving issues while providing insights from inventory reports.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work with several departments.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience in supply chain or business-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock adjustments.
• Maintain customer inventory letters of intent.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and sales team.
• Expedite orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve receiving problems and invoicing issues.
• Place orders with suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate with customer service on lead times and pricing.
• Communicate rescheduling to avoid line stoppages.
• Maintain vendor contact base.
• Analyze inventory reports and suggest rebalancing or returns.
