Job summary

Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore seeks an Assistant Chief Properties Officer to drive strategic planning and operational management of MFA’s overseas portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals and leasing of offices and staff residences.

You will lead property assessments, implement master programmes for acquisitions and relocations, and advise on tenancy agreements to ensure value-for-money while supporting Singapore’s diplomatic missions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Real Estate (Valuation) or related field.
• Preference for candidates with tenancy and property transaction experience.
• Proficiency in financial modelling to achieve value-for-money on acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning and operational management of MFA’s overseas portfolio: acquisitions, disposal and leasing.
• Coordinate and staff high-level property assessment visits with analytical insights and recommendations.
• Plan and implement Master Programmes for acquisitions, disposals, relocations and new office setup.
• Gather data for policy reviews, including housing policies for MFA staff overseas.
