JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Buyer to manage end-to-end material procurement for CIP, CSR, and NPI initiatives.

The role focuses on optimizing 6Rs—material, price, quality, time, place, and conditions—while securing competitive costs, short lead times, and strict OTD and quality standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of global sourcing experience, preferably in Asian supply networks.
• Experience in semiconductor/electronics sectors.
• Proven SAP/R3 ERP experience.
• Strong supplier qualification, auditing, and corrective action skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage material requirements and issue POs/Call-Offs in SAP.
• Coordinate with local Production Planning to align material readiness.
• Request, evaluate, and analyze supplier quotations to support fast-lane timelines.
• Process Intercompany POs (ICPO) and resolve price variance discrepancies on invoices.
• Drive supply chain quality improvements in coordination with R&D and Finance.
• Maintain SCM master data including vendor records and IQC settings.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and establish corrective action plans.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard alternative suppliers when needed.
