Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Buyer to manage material disposition for CIP’s, CSR’s and NPI, achieving lowest cost with short lead times and on-time delivery. The role focuses on SAP-driven processes and supplier performance optimization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supplier qualification, invoice verification, and proactive collaboration with multiple departments to ensure material availability and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in global sourcing (Asia-focused).
• Experience in supplier qualification, auditing and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactive improvement of the quality along the entire supply chain in close cooperation with all involved departments (Product Group, R&D, Material Management, Finance).
• Control and verify invoices with price deviations referring to PO
• Make sure that all necessary SCM parameters (vendor data, contracts, warehouse, IQC) are given and stored properly and take appropriate actions whenever necessary.
• Monitor the supplier performance and conduct proper supplier assessments as well. Prepare analysis.
• Work with the supplier to agree on corrective actions to resolve escalated issues (e.g. chasing supplier for OTD) or look for alternative suppliers when necessary.
• Issuing POs or Call Offs of QC’s related to quotations.
• Handling ICPO
