Job summary

STARLINE HOLDINGS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement specialist to handle ordering and expediting finished goods, components, packaging, raw materials, and MRO items.

You will communicate proactively with suppliers, process POs and TOs, place and expedite orders, and resolve complex issues while contributing to internal projects. You will build and manage supplier relationships, plan purchases for engineering and production, and monitor delivery, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 3-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in the manufacturing process industries.
• Inventory management knowledge; knowledge of supply/demand planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages supplier relationships and works to improve overall supplier performance.
• Plans and issues purchase orders in support of engineering and production requirements.
• Manage purchasing activities to ensure sufficient parts to meet short-range schedules.
• Monitors supplier performance for delivery, quality and cost management.
• Implements commodity strategies for long-term, cost-effective supply of materials.
• Evaluates data to determine purchase order quantities and sourcing needs.
• Researches potential suppliers to meet sourcing requirements; perform related tasks.
• Handles procurement-related administrative tasks such as invoice discrepancy resolution.
