Job summary

STAR FURNITURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement cum Shipping Assistant to support end-to-end procurement and shipping operations. The role covers supplier sourcing, PO processing, import/export documents, and timely shipment coordination to meet project timelines.

You will work with internal teams, factories, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure cost-effective procurement, accurate processing in systems, and compliance with SOPs and trade regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in business or supply chain fields.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement and shipping experience in furniture preferred.
• Good command of English and Mandarin for liaising with counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end procurement for Singapore retail, Taiwan retail, and local projects.
• Prepare POs, manage supplier accounts, and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate export/shipping, prepare export documents, and ensure compliance.
• Train, assist, and ensure SOP adherence across teams.
• Collaborate with ICD/LOG teams for product inspections and trade shows.
