Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics in Singapore is seeking a proactive procurement professional to manage supplier relationships and drive material planning. You will ensure on-time deliveries, maintain vendor data, and collaborate with the project team to resolve issues and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or engineering.
• Certifications in procurement/supply chain (e.g., NEVI, CIPS) preferred.
• 3 years experience in operational procurement.
• Experience with ERP and material planning (MRP).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for suppliers on operational questions.
• Expedite/schedule deliveries to meet timeframe, inventory, and quality.
• Daily follow-up with suppliers on deliveries at risk and escalate as needed.
• Prepare Freight Cost NPR Template from AP invoices.
• Maintain vendor master data in ERP related to supplier info.
• Coordinate discussions on material issues with project team.
• Coordinate monthly reviews with vendors on performance.
• Submit quality specifications from vendors per customer requirements.
• Liaise with Accounts on payment matters.
• Resolve supplier delivery discrepancies with warehouse.
• Monitor RTV replacements with supplier until closure.
