Job summary

Enggsol Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement / SCM Lead to drive end-to-end supply chain excellence. You will lead plant purchasing staff, align category strategies with corporate policy, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

The role focuses on cost optimization, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement at plant and corporate levels. You will manage inventory, NPI, and capital equipment negotiations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end SCM, Material Planning and Strategic Sourcing.
• Proficient in contract negotiation, vendor management, and financial cost-control.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to interface effectively with plant executives and corporate teams

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to plant purchasing staff.
• Negotiate best prices and terms with suppliers; manage supplier performance.
• Drive cost optimization and align with corporate strategy.
• Ensure timely execution of demand orders and on-time delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with plant and corporate teams on capital equipment negotiations.
• Drive inventory optimization and minimize obsolescence.
• Forecast and plan material orders, including NPI & QTA material handling.
• Ensure compliance and approvals for purchases.
