Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience, with proven experience in a senior procurement or commercial leadership role.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing, tender management, contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings, cost optimisation and commercial value.
• Strong understanding of supply-chain risk, supplier performance and business continuity.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, governance and processes.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with eProcurement systems, spend analytics and procurement digitalisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with senior management, Operations, Finance, Legal and Business Development.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and manage a high-performing procurement team.
• Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills, with high standards of integrity and professionalism.
• Experience in facilities management, engineering, construction, property, manpower-intensive or service-based industries will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Company's procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives, financial targets and operational requirements.
• Establish procurement plans and priorities to support new business wins and ongoing operations.
• Lead the procurement team and establish clear objectives, KPIs, performance standards and development plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, policies, procedures and governance.
• Provide strategic procurement advice to Management and Business Heads on sourcing strategies, market conditions, supplier risks and commercial considerations.
• Identify opportunities for procurement-led cost savings, value creation and process efficiencies.
