Job summary

Hanwha Ocean is seeking a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing strategies across global projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will analyze markets, negotiate contracts, and build lasting supplier relationships to ensure value, reliability, and risk mitigation.

You will collaborate with technical and legal teams to shape procurement strategies, develop global frame agreements, and track YOY savings while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic procurement experience in EPCI/Oil & Gas.
• Advanced skills in sourcing, market/supplier analysis, negotiation, and contracts.
• Excellent planning and time management; proactive problem solving.
• Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business needs.
• Foster strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive contracts.
• Analyze market conditions and evaluate supplier performance.
• Develop global frame agreements and roadmaps for future requirements.
• Collaborate with project procurement during WIN phase and SRM activities.
• Track savings, ensure KPI delivery, and share best practices.
