The Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) invites applications for a Sector Planning & Strategy role in Singapore. You will support strategic planning, policy development and ecosystem initiatives across the Careers and Employment Services sector, translating insights into actionable programmes.

You will collaborate with agencies, employers and training providers to shape sector trajectories, develop planning frameworks and KPI-based monitoring, and prepare concise recommendations for

• Frame issues, identify trade‑offs and prepare options to support decisions.
• Understand sector needs and translate insights into strategies or implementation plans.
• Gather, analyse and interpret research data to surface policy implications.
• Engage agencies, employers and providers to build alignment and gather ground insights.
• Prepare briefing notes, submissions and papers that explain context and options clearly.
• Coordinate consultations, meetings and workstreams, tracking timelines and deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and implementation of sector strategies and plans for the CES ecosystem.
• Conduct environmental scanning, policy research and sector analysis on career planning and workforce development.
• Analyse research findings and stakeholder inputs to identify issues and strategic insights.
• Develop planning frameworks, metrics and monitoring mechanisms for sector strategies.
• Review policies and programmes and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare materials and recommendations for management consideration.
• Incubate new ideas and partnerships to strengthen the CES ecosystem.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings, platforms and committees.
