Job summary

The Barton Partnership is seeking a senior strategic planning professional to support the Group's strategy and transformation agenda. Reporting to the Strategic Planning Director, you will provide analytical and execution support to advance CEO and Board priorities.

You will lead the preparation of board materials, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and monitor progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and clear narratives for leadership at all levels.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate finance, or a strategic planning/analytical role.
• A postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g. MBA, CFA) is advantageous.
• Strong research, financial modelling, and problem-structuring skills with sound business judgement.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analyses and industry developments to identify shifts, opportunities and risks.
• Drive the strategic planning annual group-wide exercise with inputs from business units.
• Develop submissions into a coherent corporate strategy with clear ownership and timelines.
• Prepare Board meeting materials and management discussions with high-quality narratives.
