Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned procurement professional in Singapore to manage indirect and CAPEX purchasing, review PRs, and ensure adherence to approved processes. You will conduct competitive bidding (3-bid/RFx), create and manage POs, expedite orders, and maintain SAP data while collaborating with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to resolve invoices and procurement queries.

The role also involves strong negotiation and stakeholder management, with exposure to SAP ERP

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in indirect and/or CAPEX procurement/purchasing.
• Good understanding of the PR-to-PO process.
• Experience conducting 3-bid RFx exercises and managing suppliers.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience in a procurement environment.
• SAP Ariba experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-service mindset.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational purchasing activities for indirect goods/services and CAPEX.
• Review and validate PRs and ensure purchases follow procurement processes.
• Manage competitive bidding exercises, including 3-bid processes and RFx.
• Create and manage POs, obtain supplier confirmations and expedite orders.
• Maintain purchasing data in SAP.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoices and queries.
• Support stakeholders in low-value contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier-related issues, including non-conformance and returns.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues.
• Promote the use of e-catalogues and SAP Ariba to improve efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance with procedures.
