Job summary

DBS Bank (Indonesia) in Singapore seeks a seasoned governance leader for the COO Office/Business Mgt & Support. You will drive governance across discretionary mandates, risk oversight, and wealth-product governance, ensuring policy adherence and robust controls.

You will design governance frameworks with business partners, identify operational risks, and push continuous improvements including GenAI-enabled solutions in Wealth Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.
• 10+ years in governance, product/risk management within Wealth/Asset Management.
• Strong knowledge of discretionary portfolio management and alternatives.
• Proven leadership and people development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing governance team with strategic direction and objectives.
• Provide governance advice in management committees on risk and regulatory matters.
• Partner with the business to design and implement governance frameworks.
• Identify emerging operational risks from reviews and implement solutions.
• Oversee product governance to ensure adherence to policies and risk appetite.
• Coach team members to strengthen technical expertise and critical thinking.
• Drive governance improvements and adoption of GenAI-enabled solutions.
