Job summary

National University Health System seeks an IT leader to develop and implement strategies aligning with the Diagnostics business goals. You will drive planning, development and execution of IT workplans, leveraging EPIC Beaker and NGEMR to support comprehensive IT initiatives across the Diagnostics domain.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing cross-institutional IT projects, and evaluating new technologies such as AI platforms for radiology reporting to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical disciplines.
• Project Management or programme management certification preferred.
• Certifications in EPIC Beaker and other NGEMR applications.
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare (laboratory), with at least 2 years in an IT application specialist-related position.
• Proven track record in leading projects, IT solutioning, and data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience. Experience leading teams, stakeholders, projects, and/or functions.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and plan new polyclinic instrument IT connectivity, oversee testing, and ensure timely delivery.
• Cross-department Collaboration: Work with other departments on IT work plans to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and assess potential application and impact, including AI platforms for radiology reporting.
• Change Management: Ensure effective change communication.
• Business as Usual (BAU) IT Activities: Oversee BAU IT activities, budgeting, and resource management.
