Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead stakeholder and communications initiatives across complex banking projects. The role focuses on planning, governance, and delivering on time while aligning with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong PM capabilities, prefers PMP/Prince II, and demonstrates excellent client-facing and internal communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• Proven working experience in IT project management in a banking environment and in treasury products related.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Murex knowledge is a plus
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project and change requests from planning to delivery.
• Coordinate external vendor relationships, communications, resources and budgets.
• Prepare status reports and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Deliver executive level communication and reporting on milestones.
• Own full project lifecycle to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead project management team meetings and manage project scope and changes.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Manage quality control and risk mitigation across initiatives.
