Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join the Department of Human Resource. In this role, you will work closely with business units to understand their workforce priorities and provide practical, people-focused advice across key areas of human resource management.

You will support leaders and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, strengthen workforce practices, and contribute to a positive and engaging workplace.

Qualifications

• At least five years of HR experience with business partnering, recruitment and employee relations.
• Ability to translate HR policies into practical guidance for managers.
• Familiarity with public sector HR guidelines is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• IHRP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner business units to understand priorities, assess workforce needs and provide advisories.
• Manage recruitment activities, including talent sourcing, candidate assessment, offer management and appointment.
• Advise managers on HR policies, workforce matters and employee relations for fair resolutions.
• Support performance and talent management processes guiding development and succession.
• Collaborate on employee engagement, change initiatives and lifecycle activities.
• Analyze workforce data and trends to provide actionable insights for HR projects.
