Job summary

NIE is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage a broad spectrum of faculty and MOE education officer HR functions, including recruitment, promotions, and compensation. You will support talent schemes, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives while leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve processes.

The role requires a degree in HR management, 6–8 years of HR experience with supervisory exposure, and strong communication and numerical skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with data analytics and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a spectrum of HR functions for NIE faculty and MOE education officers seconded to NIE including recruitment, contract renewal, promotions, compensation and benefits, performance management, career development, and other service-related matters.
• Manage the MOE Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Scheme, including NIE Overseas Graduate Scholarships (OGS).
• Support succession planning for Academic & Research Leadership Appointments.
• Contribute to NIE and HR initiatives and projects and play an active role in planning and organizing HR events.
• Review HR policies, schemes and processes.
• Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance HR processes, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making where applicable.
