Our client is a leading public sector organisation with a large and diverse workforce. With an increasing focus on strengthening its talent pipeline and developing future capabilities, the organisation is seeking a seasoned HR leader to oversee key Centres of Excellence spanning Talent Acquisition, Learning & Talent Management, and Employee Relations.
Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, you will oversee three critical HR portfolios and provide leadership to the respective functional teams. You will shape a forward-looking talent acquisition agenda, strengthening talent pipelines, employer branding and recruitment capabilities to support evolving workforce requirements.
Across Learning & Talent Management, you will steer the organisation’s approach to leadership and capability development, succession planning, high-potential talent and organisational development. You will work with senior leaders to anticipate future skills requirements and build sustainable talent and leadership pipelines.
You will also provide oversight on employee relations and investigations, guiding the team and senior stakeholders through complex and sensitive matters. More broadly, you will bring the three portfolios together to strengthen the organisation’s overall talent proposition and ensure programmes, policies and practices remain relevant to changing workforce needs.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 15-18 years of progressive HR experience, with strong functional depth across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Talent Management and/or Employee Relations. You should have experience leading sizeable HR teams and developing enterprise-wide talent programmes within a large and complex organisation.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and people-centric HR leader who can set direction while remaining close to execution. You should be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and developing strong teams, with the judgement and maturity to navigate complex talent and employee matters.
