Job summary

The Public Service Division is seeking an Engineer for the Flood Resilience Planning Department in Singapore. You will help chart long-term flood resilience strategies and collaborate with PUB, other Ministries, and industry stakeholders to strengthen coastal and inland drainage infrastructure.

You will develop plans, review Codes of Practice, and coordinate with agencies to implement infrastructure projects. Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) or related discipline.
• Interest in hydrological, hydraulic and coastal-engineering processes.
• Ability to work across teams and deliver analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review flood resilience plans with climate projections.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders on infrastructure plans.
• Prepare materials and present to management and inter-agency meetings.
• Support tender preparation and consultancy studies for flood resilience.
