Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a leader to manage finance resources, procurement, and inventory systems to support operational readiness and sustainment. The role covers budgeting, procurement, and robust inventory control from receipt to disposal.

Key responsibilities include developing budgets, forecasting needs, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliant end-to-end procurement while advising senior leadership on risks.

Qualifications

• Education in any discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in finance and/or supply chain areas.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail to identify non-compliances.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and report on annual and multi-year budgets.
• Forecast resource requirements and align budget allocations with objectives.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes with compliance.
• Develop procurement strategies for timely, cost-effective acquisitions.
• Oversee processing of indents, transfers, and loans with proper authorization.
• Lead identification and mitigation of procurement, financial, and reputational risks.
• Ensure robust finance, procurement, and logistics controls.
• Advise senior leadership on financial and operational risks.
