Job summary

MINDEF is seeking a senior supply chain leader to ensure resilient, efficient and secure flow of defence equipment and materials across Singapore. You will oversee end-to-end operations, lead improvements, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet operational requirements.

The role requires deep experience in logistics management, strong stakeholder influence, and a track record of delivering cost-effective logistics support for operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in logistics or supply chain is preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant supply chain experience.
• Meticulous with attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to adapt to change and drive process improvements.
• Willingness to travel for inspections and inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, distribution, repair, returns and disposal.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies and process improvements.
• Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders, logistics partners and transport providers to meet requirements.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary supply chain team through capability building and career development.
• Balance competing operational priorities while ensuring compliance with policies and agreements.
• Respond swiftly to urgent operational, emergency and contingency requirements while maintaining resilience.
