Job summary

weareaspire is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships in a dynamic exhibition and events setting. The role focuses 70% on expanding existing accounts and 30% on developing new business.

You will manage the full sales journey—from enquiry and proposals to contract negotiation, event delivery and post-event follow-up—collaborating with Marketing, Event Management and Operations to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Venue Sales or related field.
• Experience within MICE, hospitality, events, exhibitions or venue management is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• A customer-focused, commercially minded and results-driven approach.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Events Management or a related discipline.
• Comfortable travelling for client meetings and working flexible hours when required for events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow key client accounts, building long-term relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Develop and convert new business to achieve revenue and sales targets.
• Build a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, client meetings and venue tours.
• Understand client objectives and recommend tailored venue and event solutions.
• Lead proposals, presentations, negotiations and the end-to-end sales process.
• Partner with Marketing, Event Management and Operations to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and pipeline reports.
