Job summary

Constellar Corporation is seeking a Sales Manager in Singapore to drive growth by expanding existing client relationships and securing new opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor, tailoring venue solutions to client needs and coordinating with Marketing, Event Management Services, and Operations to ensure exemplary service delivery.

You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure, and lead proposals, negotiations, and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Events Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Venue/Events Sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in the MICE, hospitality, events, exhibitions, or venue management industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Customer-centric with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, when required for events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by building strong, long-term relationships, understanding clients' business objectives and event requirements, and recommending customised venue solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and event lifecycle, from initial enquiry through contract closure, event execution, and post-event follow-up, while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, market intelligence, targeted sales campaigns, client meetings, sales presentations, venue tours, and site inspections.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support sales strategy, lead generation, and business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and weekly sales activities report.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, customer records, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and sales governance processes.
  • Undertake other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer from time to time.

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new sales opportunities while managing existing client relationships to maximise revenue and achieve sales targets. The role serves as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs and proposing tailored venue solutions that deliver value and exceptional customer experiences.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Event Management Services, and Operations, the Sales Manager oversees the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal development through contract negotiation, event execution, and post-event follow-up to ensure seamless service delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

The role is primarily focused on account servicing, with approximately 70% of responsibilities dedicated to managing and growing existing client accounts, and 30% focused on securing new business opportunities.
