Job summary

Persol in Singapore is seeking an experienced Demand Planning professional to support IBP processes, forecasting, and business strategy discussions. You will collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to drive performance and ensure alignment with objectives.

The role involves managing short- and long-term demand forecasts, refining statistical forecasts with analytics teams, maintaining planning tools, monitoring KPIs, and supporting regional digital transformation

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or IBP within FMCG or fast-paced industries.

Responsibilities

• Support the demand planning function as part of the IBP process, contributing to forecasting, planning discussions, and business strategies.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to enhance collaboration and drive performance.
• Manage both short-term and long-term demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Partner with forecasting and analytics teams to develop and refine statistical demand forecasts.
• Maintain and utilize demand planning systems and tools to support planning activities.
• Analyze forecast variances, service-level issues, and planning gaps, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Support regional and global digital transformation initiatives, including AI-driven forecasting and system enhancement projects.
• Monitor and report KPIs including forecast accuracy, supply outlook, and shipment risks.
• Collaborate with customer service and order management to ensure optimal fulfillment through supply-demand balancing.
• Work with logistics and commercial teams to manage inventory health and minimize obsolescence risks.
