A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore seeks a Deputy Director, Data Governance, Analytics & Engineering to lead governance, analytics and data engineering initiatives, enabling trusted data for reporting, AI and decision-making.

You will bridge policy and practice across business and tech teams, establish data ownership, data quality rules, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines while promoting self-service analytics with proper controls.

• Experience implementing data governance practices across large organisations.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools and data platforms.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and operationalisation of the Data Governance Framework.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and data quality standards.
• Develop dashboards and analytics solutions for reporting and AI use cases.
• Build scalable data pipelines and data integrations with governance in mind.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements.
• Promote self-service analytics with governance controls.
