Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a Data Analyst to convert trusted enterprise data into meaningful insights, dashboards and recommendations for stakeholders across Finance, HR, Research Administration and Corporate Services.

You will explore Snowflake datasets, build high-quality Power BI dashboards, define KPI logic and explain analytical findings in business language. Strong collaboration with Data Engineers and governance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting or performance analytics.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards with enterprise datasets.
• Ability to translate technical findings to plain business language.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Perform root-cause analysis to support business improvements and decisions.
• Translate data findings into concise insights and actionable recommendations.
• Develop reusable dashboards or data products to automate recurring requests.
