GovTech Singapore is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead organizational data strategy within the SWDA, strengthening data capabilities and governance to enable data-driven decision making and data-driven products.

You will oversee data policy, architecture including GenAI, analytics, and reporting, and develop algorithms for jobs and skills insights while collaborating with business divisions to unlock data opportunities. The role offers a chance to influence national Smart Nation initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in data strategy and policy work.
• Strong strategic planning and critical thinking to translate economic and employment trends into actionable plans.
• Experience in information management and decision making to derive actionable insights from data.
• Excellent written and oral communication, plus relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
• People management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Develop data policies and strategies to support SWDA business outcomes.
• Strengthen data foundations: governance, quality, management, AI readiness guidelines.
• Steer data capability and culture-building strategies across SWDA.
• Ensure robust data infrastructure for analytics, reporting, including AI architecture.
• Oversee corporate reporting and KPI tracking; build algorithms for jobs/skills insights.
• Forge partnerships with business divisions to exploit data opportunities.
• Lead data projects including fraud prevention models and AI-driven process improvements.
