Job summary

Kelington Engineering (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities in Singapore.

The role involves issuing POs, matching invoices, and supporting RFQ inquiries from project and engineering teams. You will negotiate with suppliers, compare quotes, and coordinate delivery schedules. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Business or SCM and at least 2 years in procurement within construction or engineering, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, SCM or related discipline.
• 2+ years procurement experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Good understanding of construction materials, material costing, and BOQ.
• Strong analytical, planning, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
• Good coordination with different departments and suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Team player with integrity, detail-oriented and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement activities per Procurement Policies and Procedures, including PO issuance and invoice matching.
• Source quotations, compare prices, negotiate with suppliers for best value, delivery schedule, and payment terms.
• Verify deliveries against POs and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Support RFQ enquiries from project and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with new vendor registration and annual vendor evaluations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
