Job summary

THALES SOLUTIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Configuration Management leader to oversee CM discipline across programs. The role involves defining CM scope during bids, managing baselines, and coordinating with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate technical or related qualification, strong communication, and demonstrated leadership. Proficiency with CM standards and PLM tools (Windchill/Teamcenter) is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate technical or business qualification in configuration management or related area.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Solid experience with tools such as PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of configuration management standards & processes.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership of the configuration management discipline at the domain level.
• Define the scope of work for configuration management activities during the bid phase.
• Execute the work package manager role for CM work packages on programs when delegated.
• Analyze contract requirements with respect to configuration management during bids.
• Interact with customers to clarify or adjust CM requirements.
• Manage baselines and CM-related requirements for programs/products.
• Create and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for programs/products.
