Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore seeks a Configuration Management leader to drive CM discipline across programs. You will define CM scope in bids, manage baselines, and coordinate with customers, partners and suppliers to ensure build-to-spec and design-to-spec delivery.

You will establish CMPs and lead CCB activities, ensuring robust CM across the product lifecycle. The role requires strong leadership, experience with PLM tools (Windchill/Teamcenter), and knowledge of relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate technical or business qualification in a related area of Configuration Management.
• Extensive experience in Configuration Management with knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management.
• Familiarity with configuration management standards & processes; strong leadership/coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership of the configuration management discipline at the domain level.
• Define scope of work for configuration management during bid phase.
• Execute work package manager role for CM packages on programs.
• Analyze contract requirements related to configuration management during bids.
• Interact with customers to clarify or adjust CM requirements.
• Manage baselines and CM-related requirements for programs/products.
• Create and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
• Coordinate with Customers, Partners, Sub-contractors and Suppliers on CM requirements.
• Ensure CMS contains accurate contents and integrity; provide CM support to reviews and milestones.
• Organize and steer the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and related activities.
• Oversee baselines (CBL, FBL, ABL, PBL) for the program/product line.
