Job summary

KLA-TENCOR (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is hiring a detail‑driven engineer to manage product configuration specifications and drive sales order accuracy. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, NPI, Engineering Services, and Master Schedulers to ensure proper PCS documentation and BOM setup within SAP.

You will validate VC modelling data, chair review meetings, and maintain data integrity across SAP and production systems, balancing speed and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in orders configuration, document control or engineering/planning is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MRP processes and MS Excel/PowerPoint and SAP is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who works under pressure with urgency.
• Open to experienced or entry level applicants.

Responsibilities

• Manage product configuration specifications and drive sales order accuracy.

• Chair meetings and manage PCS documents (KMAT models, pricing, BOM, etc).
• Ensure new materials and BOMs are set up and CO accuracy for VC modelling (structure PCS in SAP).
• Work with VC Modelers to ensure VC data accuracy and test changes in SAP / production.
• Chair order review meetings and ensure SO accuracy with correct configuration.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of C point database and weekly MRP loading.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage product configuration specifications and drive sales order (SO) accuracy
• Develop and maintain key performance metrics
• Work with key stakeholders eg Marketing, Sales, NPI, Special Coordinator, Engineering Services, Order Administration, Manufacturing, Master Schedulers and VC Modelers etc
• Chair meetings & manage PCS document eg. KMAT models, KMAT Phantoms, KMAT BOM, pricing, configuration rules, description, etc
• Ensure new materials and BOMs are set up and created correctly and CO accuracy when ready for Variant Configurator (VC) modelling (Structure the PCS into SAP)
• Work with VC Modelers to ensure information in VC is accurate; validate & testing VC changes in SAP & production environment by creating quotes
• Chair order review meeting and ensure SO accuracy with correct configuration
• Manage and ensure accuracy of C point database and weekly MRP loading.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience
• Related industry experience in managing orders configuration, document control or engineering and planning management is an advantage
• Familiarity with MRP processes and working knowledge of computer software applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS Power Point, SAP) is an advantage
• Analytical, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to assertively implement configuration management policy
