Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking a strategic software engineering leader to shape vision and strategy across multiple sites. Lead governance, cost modelling and discipline processes while driving adoption of modern tools and cloud-based solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in senior software leadership, experience building and guiding global teams, and a focus on safety-critical development and compliance. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT or related discipline.
• 7+ years in senior software engineering leadership role, preferably international.
• Experience developing software products/projects in complex, multi-stakeholder contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute software engineering vision and strategy.
• Governance of software engineering discipline and cost models.
• Roll-out modern tools and processes (CI/CD, cloud) across disciplines.
• Support recruitment and talent development for a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulation and standards.
