Job summary

National Library Board (NLB) Singapore is seeking a senior communications professional to lead strategic communications across programmes, events and institutional announcements. You will shape messages and ensure consistent positioning across channels.

You will drive media engagement, partner with internal teams and external agencies, and mentor a small team. The role is a 2-year contract with hybrid work and a focus on community impact.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years in corporate or marketing communications with track record in strategic planning and execution.
• Experience leading a team is advantageous.
• Strong media relations, integrated campaigns, and digital content strategy expertise.
• Excellent command of English; ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.
• Strategic, analytical, and creative; able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of integrated strategic communications plans for NLB programmes and events.
• Advise senior management on communications strategy and ensure consistent messaging.
• Spearfhead media engagement and manage media responses.
• Manage relationships with external partners, agencies and vendors.
