Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Major Account Executive to drive the go-to-market strategy for Cloud Services. You will coordinate with Sales, Technical Pre-Sales, Product, and Marketing to build pipeline, execute market development initiatives, and close large enterprise cloud deals.

The role requires robust enterprise cloud sales experience, deep cloud technology knowledge, and the ability to lead customer engagements that differentiate Akamai’s offerings.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of B2B enterprise cloud services sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and related solutions.
• Proven ability to close enterprise sales opportunities with partners and customers.
• Demonstrates high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower.

Responsibilities

• Champion Akamai’s Cloud Computing vision to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute market development and pipeline-building plans.
• Lead enterprise customer engagements to differentiate Akamai’s services.
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales leaders on opportunity plans for large clients.
• Acquire deep knowledge of Akamai’s product portfolio to guide sales conversations.
