Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Claims Recovery Specialist to help recover from responsible third parties, support policyholders through the claims process, and contribute to the team’s recovery targets. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in insurance claims or related fields.

You will communicate with customers, negotiate effectively, and maintain accurate records while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree; insurance qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in insurance claims recovery, customer service, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Interpersonal, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities are important.
• Well-organised, detail oriented and able to manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive Claims Recovery by following up on claims and working toward recovery targets.
• Engage with policyholders daily to gather information and guide them through the third‑party claims process.
• Negotiate and persuade policyholders to recover claims.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls professionally per company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of call activities, follow-ups and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and risk management procedures.
• Identify risks and suggest improvements based on industry developments.
• Support team initiatives and ad-hoc projects assigned by the supervisor.
