Job summary

Lagardère Travel Retail Singapore is seeking a seasoned Category Strategy & Planning professional to shape assortments and commercial plans for liquor and related products. You will lead category strategies, optimize assortments, and drive planogram excellence across travel retail channels.

Responsibilities include building supplier relationships, negotiating terms, planning promotions, forecasting demand, and collaborating with operations, finance, logistics and marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising.
• Liquor/tobacco experience preferred; travel retail or FMCG exposure desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Optimize product assortment using consumer insights and market trends.
• Define store layouts, brand segmentation, and ensure effective planogram implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with liquor suppliers and distributors; negotiate prices and contracts.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory using historical data and insights.
