APAC Marketing Procurement Lead — Category Strategy

Job summary

Diageo in Singapore seeks an APAC procurement professional to translate global and regional strategies into market execution, collaborating with local marketing and commercial leaders to align priorities and deliver value.

You will own strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier performance, drive category plans, ensure governance and risk controls, and partner across SEA and Jakarta to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management (preferably within marketing).
• Strong understanding of sourcing processes, contract management, and supplier performance management.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and business partnering.
• Solid commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, value, and quality.
• Experience working in a regional or global, matrixed organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class procurement category excellence, including strategic sourcing, contract management, risk management, supplier performance management (SPM) and delivery of financial metrics on productivity and cash.
• Deliver marketing category strategy and embed future procurement operation model.
• Develop market implementation plan for Global and regional category strategies and execute the plan.
• Build strong business partnerships by deeply understanding stakeholder needs, effectively communicating them to the wider procurement team, and translating them into actionable procurement strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with Procurement CARM controls and governance standards.
• Proactively identify gaps and inefficiencies, turning them into continuous improvement opportunities with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Collaborate as a strong team player, embracing a “One Procurement, One Diageo” mindset to achieve shared goals and contribute to both financial and non-financial KPIs.
