Job summary

Lagardere Travel Retail Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Merchandising Specialist to support category strategy across our retail stores. You will help drive assortment, execute planograms, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure optimal product presentation.

The role requires a diploma/degree in business, at least three years in retail/MFG, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel; SAP or Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in retail, merchandising, buying, or FMCG.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Basic negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP/Power BI familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of category and merchandising strategies across retail stores.
• Assist in store layout planning and planogram implementation for product placement.
• Coordinate with vendors on purchase orders, costs, pricing, and basic negotiations.
• Prepare and maintain regular reports on sales, stock levels, and inventory movement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new item creation and data accuracy.
• Monitor stock and sales performance and propose corrective actions.
• Support category initiatives, including launches, promotions, assortment reviews, and store revamps.
