Job summary

ST Engineering Land Systems seeks an Assistant Program Manager to lead AM and advanced manufacturing programs from concept to deployment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and engage customers to deliver valuable outcomes for defence and commercial applications.

Responsibilities include end-to-end program planning, governance, and collaboration with government agencies and research partners, ensuring on-time, within-budget execution and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field.
• PM certification is advantageous.
• 2–3 years in program/project management, engineering, or tech development.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects with external partners.
• AM, defence, aerospace, or industrial tech exposure is beneficial.
• Experience managing government-funded or collaborative R&D projects preferred.
• Strong project and program management, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with analytical, problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multiple AM programs and projects.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and deliverables for on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Drive governance with reviews, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate tech development to mature concepts to deployment.
• Support capability development and qualification for defence and commercial use.
• Oversee customer-funded and internal AM projects in coordination with BD and Eng.
• Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations and contractual requirements.
• Manage collaborations with government agencies, institutes, and partners.
