Job summary

ST Engineering Advanced Networks & Sensors Pte. Ltd. invites an Assistant Project Manager to lead delivery of military and/or commercial communication systems from our Ang Mo Kio location.

The role entails planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects on time and within budget, coordinating with internal teams, sub-contractors and clients. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience in

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven project management experiences (minimum 5 years) in managing medium to large scale projects relating to infrastructure / system integration.
• Possesses positive working attitude, innovative problem-solving, critical thinking, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent client-facing and internal/external communication skills, self-driven, results and customer-oriented.
• Solid organization skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
• Technical experience in satellite communications network and equipment preferred.
• Experience in delivering projects for the defence sector is highly desired.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Government procurement and governance processes will be an added advantage
• Candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Ability to travel overseas if required
• Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
• Singaporeans only

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, time, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Lead and manage the project team.
• Interpret contracts and extract key information.
• Identify and manage contractual system requirements and deliverables.
• Analyze project materials and purchases for cost/risk optimization.
• Coordinate resources, risks, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular project reports to customers and management.
• Monitor payment milestones and billing schedule.
