Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Outlet Manager to lead daily store operations, people management and sales. You will contribute to pre-opening work and guide the team in delivering high service standards during peak periods.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in F&B/retail operations, is proficient with Excel/Sheets and can manage staffing and budgets. Bakery or department-store concession experience is a plus. Staff discounts available.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of F&B or food retail operations experience, including at least 1–2 years supervising a team.
• Valid Food Hygiene certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately, with familiarity with SFA requirements.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills to maintain sales and stock trackers; inventory planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-opening preparations and manage daily outlet operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, POS controls and sales reconciliation.
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise the store team, maintain attendance and payroll inputs, and manage staffing costs within budget.
• Plan baking and product finishing schedules around demand, maintain quality and presentation, and assist with counter duties when needed.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, licensing docs and audit readiness, monitor expiry dates and reduce wastage.
• Lead customer service, resolve complaints, oversee refunds and pre-orders, and coach staff on product knowledge.
• Forecast stock requirements, place replenishment orders and maintain inventories for normal and peak periods.
• Coordinate with venue management on reporting and promotions, and run campaigns, seasonal launches and pop-up events.
• Track sales, stock and waste using spreadsheets, report performance against targets, and suggest pricing/promotions improvements.

Take responsibility for a food retail outlet and help build the team behind it. This hands‑on role combines store operations, people management and sales, with the opportunity to contribute to pre‑opening preparation and day‑to‑day commercial decisions. Staff discounts are available.

• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, licensing documentation and audit readiness, while monitoring expiry dates and reducing wastage.
• Lead customer service, resolve complaints and product concerns, oversee refunds and pre-orders, and coach staff on product knowledge.
• Forecast stock requirements, place replenishment orders and maintain accurate product and packaging inventories for normal and peak trading periods.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of F&B or food retail operations experience, including at least 1–2 years supervising a team; bakery or department-store concession experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid Food Hygiene certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately, with familiarity with SFA requirements and readiness to handle counter work and baking or product finishing.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills to maintain sales and stock trackers independently; inventory planning or import logistics experience is an advantage.
• Able to work retail shifts, weekends, public holidays and extended hours during peak periods; experience supporting store openings or team build‑outs is helpful.
