Job summary

Fu Yu Corporation Ltd. is seeking a Store and Logistic Supervisor to support the Planning & Logistic Manager in daily store and logistics operations. The role emphasizes efficient inventory control, on-time delivery, and staff supervision and training.

The successful candidate will oversee receiving, issuing and delivering, optimize processes, and drive safety and cost-control initiatives while ensuring excellent customer service and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or equivalent in related field.
• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or store/logistic environments.
• Valid Singapore Forklift License (3 ton & above).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations in receiving, issuing and delivering.
• Ensure high level of customer service in on-time delivery.
• Address customer complaints related to logistics/store and resolve promptly.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes to boost productivity.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and consignments checks.
• Maintain equipment safety and calibration; ensure safe operation.
• Control logistics costs related to transport, storage and handling.
• Uplift staff training and supervise warehouse personnel.
• Report to Planning & Logistics Manager and support in duties as needed.

Position Description (Summary)

The Store and Logistic Supervisor is responsible to support the Planning & Logistic Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store & logistics. The role involves ensuring efficient store operations, managing inventory, providing excellent customer service in delivery on time and assisting in staff supervision and training.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day store operations in Receiving, Issuing & Delivering.
• Ensure a high level of customer service in on time delivery.
• Ensure a high level of customer service in addressing customer complaints pertaining to logistic/store and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes, increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Perform monthly cycle count and monthly consignment count.
• Equipment Maintenance and Control.
• Ensure all Store’s equipment is maintained in safety and working condition.
• Conduct regular checks on all equipment and ensure they are is calibrated.
• Monitor and control costs related to transportation, storage and handling of materials to optimize operational budgets.
• Observe and comply with the Company’s safety and health system, safe work procedures and instructions, as well as safety policy and rules.
• Staff development and training for warehouse ground staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Job Specification

• Minimum diploma or equivalent related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or store/logistic environment.
• Preferably able to operate forklift and reach truck.
• Must possess a valid Singapore Forklift License (3 ton & above).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of store operations and material handling techniques.
• Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management system, working knowledge in SAP is a plus.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to communicate and lead a team of store personnel to meet department goals.
