Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace AMDC is seeking a quality-focused engineer to support the AMDC Head in leading QA matters and aligning production with AS9100 and Part 21 requirements. You will oversee audits, production org approvals, non-conformities, inspections, and tooling conformity across additive manufacturing and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of AMDC to lead AMDC’s quality assurance-related matters.
• Support ST Engineering Aerospace quality management system and quality plan.
• Manage/coordinate Production Organisation Approval activities.
• Manage/coordinate non-conformity process and defect trending; coordinate NC reports with Design Organisation.
• Verify inspection steps are in manufacturing documentation.
• Verify MTE calibration status is maintained.
• Verify conformity of jigs and tooling where applicable.
• Promote continuous improvement including AI tools for productivity.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of AMDC.

Job description

• maintain, improve and ensure implementing of Production Organization procedures in compliance with requirement from AS9100 & Part 21 in day-to-day operations, and
• manage internal and external audits.

Primary Responsibilities:

1) General

• You will support the Head of AMDC to lead AMDC’s (Advanced Manufacturing Design Centre) quality assurance-related matters.
• Support ST Engineering Aerospace quality management system and quality plan

2) Production Quality for AMDC

• Manage /coordinate Production Organisation Approval activities
• Manage /coordinate non-compliance process and perform defect trending. Coordinate non-conformity report with Design Organisation and ensure timely closure.
• Verify that inspection steps are inserted in the manufacturing documentation.
• Verify that calibration status of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE) is maintained.
• Verify conformity of jigs and tooling where applicable.

4) Promote continuous improvement including adoption of AI tools, for better productivity and performance.

5) Other tasks assigned by the Head of AMDC.

Requirements:

Self-driven with demonstrated ownership is a sought quality, to lead team for engineering /

manufacturing activities by following the defined procedures, so to deliver the projects /

products with full compliance / conformance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are sought. Timely update to the AMDC Head

and respective project manager is necessary to enable on-time decision /adjustment.

You should possess an engineering degree with minimum 3 years’ relevant experiences in

aviation, particularly with experience in manufacturing and special processes audit, and the

following: -

• AS9100 certified auditor
• Possess knowledge in aircraft parts, components, consumables or manufacturing process
• Possess basic knowledge of airworthiness requirement
• Part 21 sub-part J/G knowledge /Additive Manufacturing related knowledge / project management experience is added advantage.
