Job summary

AMARA SINGAPORE is seeking a Training & Development Assistant to support programme delivery and employee engagement. You will prepare and conduct classrooms and on-the-job training, monitor effectiveness, and maintain training records while designing OJT plans.

The role requires 3–5 years in a hotel or training setting, with ACTA or related certifications being advantageous. Strong communication, initiative, and time management are essential in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a hotel or training capacity.
• ACTA qualifications or other training certifications would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees and external parties.
• Able to work independently and has good time management skills.
• Demonstrate initiative and assertiveness towards responsibilities.
• Positive role model who can engage groups of diverse size and background.

Responsibilities

• Support the Training Manager in Training & Development and employee engagement.
• Prepare, facilitate, conduct classrooms and on-the-job training.
• Monitor training effectiveness of programmes delivered and maintain records.
• Design and develop On The Job training plans.
• Maintain internal support to achieve service quality standards.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to newly hired staff.
• Liaise with stakeholders and external parties for training requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training processes and team culture.
