Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an SSD Validation (Test Development) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain performance and power validation for data center SSDs.

You will translate product and customer requirements into scalable test methodologies and automated test cases, driving test enablement aligned with program milestones. The role collaborates with Performance Validation Leads, Firmware, System Architecture, Infrastructure, and Customer Performance teams, leveraging modern software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong Python programming and automated testing experience.
• Experience in SSD validation testing including performance, power, or firmware validation.
• Familiarity with PCIe/NVMe, Windows and Linux, and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performance and power validation test cases for data center SSDs.
• Translate requirements into automated performance and power validation test cases and validation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain validation test plans, methodologies, processes, and best practices across SSD programs.
• Collaborate with Firmware, System Architecture, Infrastructure, and Customer Performance teams to align with milestones.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, quality, and effectiveness.
