Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Singapore seeks an engineer to own end-to-end performance and power maturity for Data Center SSD programs, guiding firmware, architecture and platforms from early bring-up to customer qualification.

You will perform in-depth performance analysis, drive mitigations with FW, Arch and Systems teams, and deliver data-driven insights while coordinating program status with Product Development and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong background in SSD performance and power characterization.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, workload execution, and performance debug.
• Solid understanding of firmware–hardware interactions affecting latency, bandwidth, and power.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to internal and external partners.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools for research and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance and power readiness for assigned programs, from early firmware maturity through customer qualification.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality performance and power data aligned with program goals.
• Drive program status updates for performance and power to Product Development and other stakeholders.
• Perform in-depth performance analysis and root-cause debugging, understanding firmware dynamics and hardware interactions.
• Identify performance risks early and work with FW, Architecture, and Systems teams to mitigate.
• Plan and forecast infrastructure and development needs to support program execution.
