Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Engineer, Customer Validation to support automated validation infrastructure for Enterprise SSD interoperability, functionality, and reliability across platform environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve validation coverage, product quality, and release readiness.

The role emphasizes automated test strategies, test equipment interfaces, and collaboration with firmware, hardware, and product teams to deliver robust validation solutions.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or higher in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with automated validation and test infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain interfaces for new test equipment, validation tools, and automation frameworks.
• Define, plan, and execute automated test strategies that improve coverage, scalability, and validation efficiency.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, test, and product teams to develop robust validation solutions.
• Troubleshoot SSD, software, and platform integration issues and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate and enhance validation methodologies to detect defects earlier in development.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve test scalability and repeatability.
